About The Atlanta Search Group The Atlanta Search Group was founded as a specialty niche search firm specializing in the areas of audit, tax, accounting & finance. While our focus has remained in seeking out and working with elite industry professionals, we have continued to solidify our relationships here in Atlanta. Management The Atlanta Search Group was founded by Managing Partner Rick Stockfield. Most recently, he was the Founding Partner of a boutique executive search firm which specialized in accounting and finance; Co-Founder of a recruiting dot-com which launched in 2004; and partner of another boutique search firm in Atlanta dating back to 2001. In 1999, he joined Jefferson Wells International as a Business Development Manager where he established relationships with several Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to JWI, he was a Consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP which he joined in 1995 and a Budget Analyst with the New York State Assembly Ways & Means Committee. He holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Syracuse University and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He and his wife Mindy have a young but energetic son, Shane. He is an avid baseball and poker player and supporter of charitable organizations…Rick is as well. |
